A Siberian Husky is medium-sized working dog. As they were bred for compact sled dogs, they are an idea size for a active lifestyle.

A male Siberian Husky tends to be 21 to 23.5 inches at the shoulder and weights 45 to 60 pounds. Asher, our boy, recently weighed in at 54 pound at his annual vet visit.

Female Siberian Huskies on the other hand are to be slightly smaller. They are to be 20 to 22 inches at the shoulder and are to weigh 35 to 50 pounds.

They are known for their compact, well-muscled builds, which help them excel as sled dogs.
